Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Director - Network Engineer to lead network strategy and a high-performing team in a remote-capable role. The position requires guiding architecture, engineering, and operations while delivering secure, scalable network services for complex enterprise needs.

You will champion automation and DevOps practices, oversee cloud networking across public, private, and hybrid environments, and ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 10+ years of professional experience in networking or related roles.
• Experience leading engineering teams in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of modern enterprise networking architectures and security.
• Experience with public, private, and hybrid cloud environments (AWS/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Develop the network strategy and roadmap aligned to business goals.
• Lead Network Operations, Engineering, and Architecture teams.
• Ensure delivery of network projects on time and within budget.
• Monitor SLAs and improve service delivery performance.
