Job summary

Oscar Health is seeking a Director, Member Experience Strategy to lead the MemX Strategy team. You will define the department’s strategy, design and implement programs, and collaborate across functions to improve member value.

You will report to the VP, Member Experience and work in a hybrid role requiring occasional in-office presence. The role requires 10+ years in healthcare strategy/operations and 6+ years of management, plus cross-functional leadership and Excel/Sheets proficiency.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in healthcare strategy and operations
• 6+ years of management experience
• 3+ years leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives
• Clinical licensure required
• Management consulting with a healthcare focus preferred
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
• Experience in a growth-stage company
• Willingness to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Set, drive and execute the department's strategy and vision to enhance value and impact of the Member Experience Program
• Understand competitive landscape and patient needs; act as a thought leader for MemX
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to implement ideas and drive accountability
• Plan and manage key company and department strategy initiatives
• Own financial, operational and performance health of the department
• Report to Senior Leadership on health of the business and priorities
• Drive budgeting in partnership with leadership
• Develop and coach direct reports and ensure career development
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned
