California CASA Association seeks a full-time Marketing & Communications Director to lead statewide marketing and DEI-centered outreach across California, elevating CASA’s mission and the voice of foster youth.

Responsibilities include developing inclusive campaigns, recruiting volunteers statewide, managing branding and content, and partnering with agencies while guiding a diverse team. Remote work with CA residency required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, PR, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in marketing and communications, with nonprofit experience desirable.
• Proven experience supervising consultants and staff and effectively managing complex projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Squarespace; comfortable with websites, e-marketing, and social media.
• Commitment to DEI in marketing communications.

• Lead statewide marketing campaigns to recruit volunteers and raise awareness.
• Develop inclusive statewide marketing strategies aligned with CA CASA's mission.
• Oversee marketing collateral and online content that is accessible and inclusive.
• Provide resources to local programs to enhance their marketing capacity.
• Manage public relations and advocacy efforts incorporating DEI values.
• Budget management and collaboration with leadership on funding.
