Job summary

Ascensus seeks a Director of Government Savings Operations to lead a large, global team responsible for processing and client service excellence. You will shape the operational strategy, drive automation via RPA and AI, and ensure performance on budgets, SLAs, and quality.

You will collaborate with technology, product, and business partners to optimize workflows, while maintaining strong governance, regulatory compliance, and a culture of continuous improvement. Expect travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of professional experience.
• 7+ years of leadership in financial services or operations management.
• Experience with automation (RPA/AI) in ops environments.
• Strong ability to manage KPIs including budget, SLAs, quality, and productivity.
• Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Government Savings operations and align with goals.
• Drive process improvement and standardization across teams, including global partners.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities using RPA, AI, and workflow tools.
• Maintain accountability for KPIs: budget adherence, SLA performance, quality, productivity, escalations.
• Oversee transaction processing and client service activities across teams.
• Lead workforce planning and capacity management across peak periods.
• Mentor managers and team leads to build a high-performance leadership pipeline.
• Collaborate with technology, product, and business partners to improve end-to-end workflows.
