Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is seeking a Director of Trade Compliance to lead the global trade program and set strategic direction for import/export compliance across U.S. and international operations.

You will drive policy development, training, and governance while coordinating with ITCR and external partners. The role requires extensive experience in BIS, ITAR, EAR, and HTS/ECCN classifications, with a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, build scalable controls, and report to

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, law or international trade.
10+ years in trade compliance roles with multinational exposure.
Hands-on experience with BIS, U.S. Customs, OFAC requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead the strategic direction and management of Air Liquide’s trade compliance program.
Develop, implement and maintain policies, trainings and guidelines for import/export.
Manage relationships with customs brokers and ITCR.
Identify and implement trade tech tools (GTM, HTS/ECCN classifications).
Provide training and reports to senior leadership on compliance status.
