Job summary

NGO-ISAC is seeking a senior leader to design and run cybersecurity programs and sector engagement. This role sets the direction for threat intelligence sharing, develops resources to raise member security maturity, and represents NGO-ISAC with government, industry, and the cybersecurity community.

The position is fully remote within the United States, with a preference for East Coast overlap and some travel.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or information security.
• Experience in collaborative security settings such as ISACs, government partnerships, nonprofits, or multi-organization efforts.
• Proven ability turning security expertise into working programs or services.
• Strong grasp of the current threat environment and cross-organization coordination.
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading teams or programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop security programs and member support tailored to nonprofit operations.
• Design scalable programs: assessments, resilience guidance, training.
• Deliver member training: phishing simulations, incident drills, executive briefings.
• Spot and anticipate emerging threats affecting civil society.
• Create practical tools and resources to raise sector security maturity.
• Ensure programs deliver measurable value to members.
