Sumitomo Pharma America, Inc. is seeking a senior Medical Information leader to provide strategic oversight of Medical Information activities across assigned therapeutic areas, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant responses to unsolicited inquiries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required or equivalent.
• Master's degree in pharmacy or related science strongly preferred; PharmD or related advanced degree is advantageous.
• Healthcare professional license is preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, coach, and support Medical Information colleagues, including workload prioritization, performance guidance, professional development, and delivery of high-quality Medical Information services.
• Provide strategic and operational oversight for Medical Information activities within assigned therapeutic areas, ensuring accurate, timely, balanced, and compliant responses to unsolicited Medical Information requests.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned therapeutic areas, maintaining in-depth knowledge of product data, disease states, treatment guidelines, labeling, literature, and internal information.
• Develop, update, and maintain Medical Information resources, including response documents, handling guides, scientific content, and other materials used to support Medical Information inquiries.
