Job summary

Penfield Search Partners Ltd. is seeking a Director/Senior Director, Medical Affairs Biostatistics remote role to lead statistical activities for publications, external collaborations, and evidence-generation initiatives.

This senior leader will guide SAPs, design analysis plans, and partner across Medical Affairs and Clinical Biostatistics to drive impactful scientific communications. The ideal candidate has a PhD or MS with extensive pharma/biotech experience, a strong publication record,

Qualifications

PhD with 8+ years pharma/biotech experience, or MS with 15+ years
Strong experience in post-approval Medical Affairs biostatistics
Extensive publication record
Experience with propensity score matching and linear models for repeated measures
Deep knowledge of statistical methodology, drug development, and regulatory environments

Responsibilities

Lead statistical and programming efforts supporting medical publications, scientific congresses, and external collaborations
Provide statistical expertise to Medical Affairs strategy, publication planning, and evidence-generation initiatives
Guide the design and analysis of investigator-initiated research and collaborative studies
Develop and maintain Supplemental Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs)
Partner with Medical Affairs, Clinical Biostatistics, Statistical Programming, Translational Medicine, and Project Management
Develop exploratory and ad hoc analyses to uncover scientific insights and evidence-generation opportunities
Support RWE and HEOR initiatives as needed
Serve as the primary biostatistics point of contact for Medical Affairs
