Job summary

Merative is seeking a Director of Consulting Services to lead the Merge implementations from discovery through stabilization and to set the standards for design, validation, and acceptance. The role drives customer education, adoption, and cross-functional collaboration across imaging workflows including radiology, cardiology, and specialty service lines.

The ideal candidate has extensive healthcare software consulting experience, leadership of senior teams, and a track record of delivering

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in solution consulting, implementation consulting, or application delivery within healthcare software
• Four+ years leading a team, with experience leading through other leaders
• Demonstrated ownership of solution design + configuration decisions on complex enterprise implementations
• Working knowledge of healthcare IT integration concepts (HL7, FHIR, DICOM)
• Experience defining or improving a delivery methodology, not only working within one

Responsibilities

• Lead the Consulting Services practice across the implementation lifecycle (discovery to stabilization)
• Set discovery + design methodology and required artifacts with sign-off points
• Establish and enforce configuration standards and manage exception paths
• Own clinical, operational, and administrative workflow standards across radiology, cardiology, and specialty services
• Drive design decisions to meet organizational goals like turnaround time and throughput
• Define adoption measures and hold the practice accountable post go-live
• Validate scope at pre-sales handoff and route gaps to change control
• Own internal build quality and configuration validation
• Oversee customer UAT including test plans and acceptance
• Define go-live readiness criteria and stabilization handoff
• Own customer education strategy and content library
• Measure training effectiveness by competency and adoption
