Zealand Pharma U.S., Inc. seeks a Director, Field Medical Affairs – Obesity to lead and grow the national MSL organization focused on obesity and metabolic disease.

You will translate scientific strategy into field impact, partnering with Medical, Clinical Development, and Commercial teams. You will coach and develop senior MSLs, drive launch readiness, and shape KOL engagement while ensuring regulatory and budget discipline across the field.

Qualifications

• Senior Medical Affairs leader with credibility to engage KOLs and cross-functional partners.
• 7+ years in increasing seniority with MSL team leadership and management.
• Proven experience launching obesity/metabolic assets and developing field strategy.
• Deep knowledge of US regulatory landscape governing field medical activities.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% domestically.

Responsabilités

• Lead national obesity-focused MSL team, establish goals, KPIs, and territory plans.
• Serve as senior field medical partner to Medical, Clinical Development, and Commercial leaders.
• Shape KOL engagement strategy and represent MSL leadership in high-level interactions.
• Coach, develop, and performance-manage MSLs to build bench strength.
• Lead field medical launch planning for new obesity assets and ensure readiness.
• Ensure field operations comply with regulatory standards and budget constraints.
• Advocate for field needs to enable successful medical strategy execution.
