Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company seeks a Director, Federal APX Project Development to act as the commercial liaison with senior government officials, regulators, and customers in the US State and Federal Government. This 100% remote role will lead growth strategies and manage relationships to deliver APX products from development through invoicing.

The role reports to the VP APX Project Development - North America and requires deep nuclear industry knowledge, strategic planning, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years' experience in Nuclear or Energy Industry.
• Knowledge of nuclear utility industry and regulatory environment.
• Knowledge of global marketing principles and industry practices, strategic planning processes, negotiation approaches, commercial terms and conditions and contract administration.
• Knowledge of Government State and Federal Customer work process and its internal cultures.
• Understanding of business planning and processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement customer-based sales strategies and provide insight into buying influences, relationships, pricing strategies, and engagement.
• Identify growth opportunities and facilitate business development, collaborating with APX delivery teams to deliver products.
• Update sales plans in D365 including opportunities and documentation of engagements.
• Collaborate with Global Markets to support voice of customer and needs identification.
• Foster executive customer relationships and interfaces with government, regulators and media.
• Represent Westinghouse in industry organizations to promote the One Westinghouse strategy.
• Provide leadership and implement WEC policies, training, regulatory and customer compliance, and IT processes.
• Approve proposals and contracts observing guidelines.
• Help develop APX mid and long-term plans and new strategies.
• Communicate strategic intent and planned expenditures to Growth Leaders and Product Managers.
