Job summary
Brilliant® is seeking an experienced Director, Data Privacy & Privacy Engineering to lead the privacy program across a global B2B SaaS portfolio. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Cybersecurity, AI/Data teams, and Legal to embed privacy into products and platforms, with a strong emphasis on scalable processes and technically grounded controls.
You will operationalize regulatory requirements, advance privacy governance, and drive privacy engineering best practices,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years in privacy engineering or data governance.
- Experience translating regulatory requirements into technical solutions.
- Background in B2B SaaS and cloud environments.
- Proven RoPA, DPIA, DSR, and privacy operating model implementation.
Responsibilities
- Lead execution of the privacy and data governance roadmap.
- Build and mature privacy engineering and operations capabilities.
- Translate regulatory needs into technical controls and processes.
- Own RoPA, DPIA, DSR processes and related governance activities.
- Drive data classification, retention, and deletion initiatives.
- Define privacy engineering standards for data handling.
- Lead data subject rights execution and automation efforts.
