Job summary

Everest Clinical Research Corporation is seeking a Director, Project Management to lead planning, communication, and execution of clinical development services. This remote/office role oversees PM staff and ensures delivery across Phase I–IV trials in a matrixed organization.

You will align functional leaders, manage budgets, and drive governance with clients and internal teams, ensuring quality and timely results in a global CRO setting.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in life sciences or health related field.
• Minimum 18 years of experience in clinical research and development within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, institutional, or CRO setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop others within functional area.
• Understanding of cross-functional processes including clinical operations, statistics, data management, pharmacovigilance, subject randomization and drug supply management, data monitoring and adjudication committees, regulatory affairs, and medical writing.
• Knowledge and understanding of ICH guidelines, FDA, Health Canada, and EMA regulations.
• Ability to define scopes and estimate budgets, plan and manage projects, including resource requirements and utilization, hours spent vs. budgets, key deliverables and timelines.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Demonstrated strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Strong ability in problem-solving, including conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver client service across portfolio; biometrics and full services project deliveries across multiple clinical development programs.
• Strategically align efforts of functional area directors and managers in project planning and resource utilization.
• Perform project and portfolio performance tracking and governance meetings to optimize partnership performance.
• Ensure projects are tracked and managed according to quality, operational and budget standards.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and management oversight of project management staff.
• Develop and establish policies and SOPs in project management for quality deliverables.
• Initiate and support process and technology improvement initiatives; develop reusable PM templates and training materials.
• Identify risks and issues and present solutions to senior leadership.
