Ladders is seeking a Director of Biostatistics for a remote leadership role based in the United States. You will shape the statistical strategy for late-stage and multi-phase clinical development, partnering with clinical, regulatory, and biometrics teams to ensure rigorous analyses, high-quality deliverables, and submission-ready evidence generation.

The ideal candidate will mentor junior statisticians, advance innovative statistical approaches, and strengthen cross-functional decision-making

Qualifications

• PhD in Statistics or Biostatistics required.
• 8+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of multi-phase drug development.
• Advanced statistical concepts for Clinical Research.
• Experience with submission dossiers and regulatory interactions.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
• Ability to influence innovative statistical methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead statistical aspects of clinical development plans and studies.
• Manage timelines and quality of analyses by CROs or internal teams.
• Drive statistical innovation through advanced analytics and data visualization.
• Address complex analytical issues independently.
• Foster collaboration across Biometrics with key stakeholders.
• Contribute to departmental projects.
• Mentor junior statisticians.
