Job summary

Gartner is seeking a Director Analyst in Data Management to lead strategic research and advisory engagements. The role focuses on real-world implementation of Agentic Data Management across organizational use cases, with regular client-facing deliverables and executive-level guidance.

You will mentor peers, develop high-impact research content, and present at Gartner conferences, webinars, and client engagements, while staying ahead of market trends and technology valuations.

Qualifications

• Experience with Agentic Data Management, delivered live projects and understanding the challenges, use cases and technology.
• Knowledge of core Vendors in Agentic Data Management, the products they offer and the core capabilities.
• Familiarity with Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO) initiatives, goals, objectives, and business value ROI.
• Ability to confidently speak to C-Level Executives and provide actionable insights or explain concepts targeted and relatable to their role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality actionable advice through a variety of media.
• Write provocative and pragmatic research that is clear and actionable.
• Provide high quality and timely research content peer review.
• Create and deliver presentations for webinars, onsite engagements, and Gartner conferences.
• Track vendors, market trends and emerging practices to remain ahead of the curve within these areas.
