Job summary

The Working Families Party is seeking a Digital Platforms and Content Manager to oversee CA public-facing digital communications, social media, and creative content. This role focuses on growing online engagement, preserving branding, and supporting campaigns across the California chapter.

Based in California, the candidate will coordinate with leadership, manage events coverage, and produce timely visuals and copy to advance electoral priorities during a dynamic election cycle.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience preferred.
• Experience managing organizational social media accounts with high visibility.
• Strong graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar platforms.
• Ability to produce polished visual content under tight deadlines.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced political environment.
• Located in California and available for occasional travel within the state.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CA WFP public-facing digital communications and design strategy.
• Manage day-to-day posting across California WFP social media platforms.
• Draft and schedule social media content.
• Coordinate posting priorities with California leadership and campaign staff.
• Monitor platform activity and respond or elevate issues as appropriate.
• Maintain consistent branding and messaging across platforms.
• Occasional on the ground coverage of WFP events and activations.
• Stay up to date on trends and algorithm changes.
