Job summary

Smith Optics is seeking a Junior Digital Merchandiser to ensure a precise and engaging online product experience across the Smith Optics and multi-brand portfolio. You will own product setup, catalogue data, PDPs, pricing, promotions, reviews, and product-feed quality while ensuring timely launches.

You will work with eCommerce, Merchandising, and Development teams, applying strong attention to detail and analytical insight to optimize site storytelling, navigation, and discovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in merchandising or related field is preferred.
• 1–3 years of eCommerce site experience; outdoor industry experience is a plus.
• Experience with product feeds is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to web analytics and performance metrics.
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to manage both broad and detailed product data.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Product Detail Pages (PDPs) aligned with merchandising and UX standards.
• Merchandise the site to deliver a compelling product experience and clear category navigation.
• Manage seasonal catalogue data with timely updates based on assortment needs.
• Maintain product-feed accuracy across Shopify and downstream platforms.
• Coordinate product launches to ensure accurate go‑live timing and information.
• Own site pricing, promotions, and discount code management.
• Moderate and manage product reviews and share insights with Marketing and Merchandising.
• Collaborate on site storytelling and PDP optimization by category and user group.
