Job summary

Dexcom is seeking a Digital Factory Software Systems Engineer to join the IT/OT team, supporting manufacturing operations and engineering initiatives in R&D and production plants. You will ensure reliable operation of MES, SCADA, and factory applications, and collaborate across R&D, Engineering, Quality, IT, and Production to drive improvements.

The role requires 5+ years of experience with manufacturing software systems, strong troubleshooting, and knowledge of GMP and ISA-95.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 5–8 years of related experience, or equivalent.
Experience supporting manufacturing software systems (e.g., SCADA, LabVIEW, C#, database-driven apps).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of GMP, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day software development and technical support for manufacturing software systems.
Design, develop, and maintain manufacturing software solutions, including data pipelines and integrations.
Develop system designs and architecture artifacts (e.g., UML diagrams, interface specifications).
Support software validation and change control in regulated manufacturing environments.
Troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime and maximize uptime.
Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Quality, IT, and Production to resolve issues.
