Job summary
Dexcom Inc. in Mesa, AZ seeks a Senior Manufacturing Software Systems Engineer to support manufacturing operations.
You will work with IT/OT, Operations Engineering, Quality, and R&D to ensure reliable operation of manufacturing software platforms including MES, SCADA, and databases. This role combines systems engineering with software development and manufacturing software support to maintain high availability and enable Dexcom’s CGM manufacturing processes, with opportunities to use AI tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 5–8 years related experience, or Master’s degree with 2–5 years equivalent experience.
- Experience supporting manufacturing software systems (SCADA, LabVIEW, C#, database-driven apps).
- Knowledge of GMP, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma principles.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day software development and technical support for MES integration, SCADA, SQL Server databases, and related factory applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain manufacturing software solutions, including data pipelines and integrations.
- Develop system designs and architecture artifacts and documentation.
- Troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity.
- Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Quality, IT, and Production to address software/system anomalies.
