Job summary

Remote Legal Court Reporting is seeking skilled court reporters to facilitate remote depositions and ensure high-fidelity transcription. You will administer oaths, manage audio and video materials, and provide client support with basic tech troubleshooting.

The role requires attention to detail, a reliable high-performance computer, stable internet, and familiarity with Zoom or similar platforms. Prior court reporting experience (1–2 years) and active Notary status are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification AAERT CER or CDR preferred.
• Notary Public status active in your state; RON certification within 3 months if applicable.
• Strong tech proficiency and familiarity with digital platforms.
• Virtual courtroom experience with video conferencing tools preferred.
• Attention to detail, grammar, punctuation, and proofreading skills essential.
• Professionalism, reliability, and proactive work ethic required.
• 1–2 years of prior court reporting experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate remote legal proceedings, administer oaths, and ensure a smooth process.
• Provide professional client support including basic tech troubleshooting.
• Digitally record, annotate, and document legal proceedings with precision.
• Maintain and monitor equipment for optimal performance.
• Playback or read back requested testimony with confidence.
• Manage and upload audio files, exhibits, and documentation for transcription.
