Job summary

Pomelo Care, a leading virtual medical practice for women and children, offers a flexible independent contractor role for registered dietitians licensed in Indiana. You will conduct synchronous video visits, deliver personalized nutrition care, and support midlife and menopause transition patients through multi-week programs.

As a remote contractor, you’ll manage documentation, credentialing support, and scheduling, with earnings per visit.

Qualifications

• National certification as an RD or RDN with license to practice in Indiana.
• Ability to commit for a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience providing nutrition therapy for metabolic syndrome, weight loss, bone health, GI issues, and plant-based diets.
• Comfortable using telehealth platforms, video conferencing tools, and electronic documentation systems.
• Strong clinical judgment with the ability to work independently during patient visits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits with patients navigating midlife and menopause transitions.
• Provide one-on-one virtual nutrition care via phone and video calls to facilitate lifestyle changes.
• Work with patients in a multi-week program to improve symptoms and sustain behavior change.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
• Follow applicable clinical, documentation, privacy, quality, and compliance standards for visits.
