Job summary

Serene Health Services is seeking a Remote Dietitian with a Massachusetts license to provide medical nutrition therapy in a long-term care setting. You will evaluate treatment effectiveness and work within interdisciplinary teams to support residents' nutritional needs.

The role offers Telehealth services 7 days a week and a collaborative environment with opportunities for professional growth, while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university.
• Master's degree in Dietetics or related field starting January 1, 2024.
• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and MA licensure or within 6 months of hire.
• Must follow CMS vaccination guidelines.
• Experience in facilities with quantity food production.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to interact positively with residents, clinical staff, interdisciplinary team, other personnel, and the public.
• Knowledge of dietary practices and nursing facility regulations.
• Leadership ability to guide other personnel.

Responsibilities

• Directly provides nutrition services according to policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements
• Plans, organizes, develops, and directs the nutritional care of residents in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations
• Works effectively with others to ensure that quality nutritional services are being provided on a daily basis
• Acts as a liaison between the dining department and clinical staff
• Consistently embodies the characteristics necessary to drive the Company's Purpose, Vision, Values, and DNA
