Job summary

Prestige Healthcare Resources, Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to provide part-time and/or remote nutrition services for adult clients in Inpatient Geriatric Psychiatry and Residential SUD treatment programs in Washington, DC.

The RD will conduct screenings, assessments, education, and care planning, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team to promote recovery and wellness. The role requires an active RDN credential, DC licensure eligibility, and at least 2 years of nutrition

Qualifications

• Active RDN/RD credential.
• DC licensure eligible to practice in DC (or able to obtain).
• Minimum 2 years of nutrition counseling or clinical nutrition experience.
• Knowledge of evidence-based nutrition interventions.
• Strong written documentation and communication skills.
• Proficiency with virtual platforms (Zoom/Teams) and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and/or review nutrition screenings and assessments for clients as appropriate.
• Provide individualized nutrition counseling and education related to recovery nutrition, weight changes, and food insecurity.
• Coordinate with meal preparation and delivery services to ensure safe, appropriate meals.
• Collaborate with medical and clinical staff to support treatment planning and discharge planning.
• Document nutrition services in the EMR per program standards and timelines.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to support coordinated care.
