Job summary

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our network of clinicians, delivering high-quality patient care with the support of a dedicated team. You will conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and tailor care plans across detox, residential, and outpatient stages in behavioral health settings.

We offer flexible scheduling (20-24 hours/week), 2 onsite visits weekly, and remote hours.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD/RDN).
Current state licensure/certification (if mandated by the state where the facility operates).
Minimum 2-3 years of recent clinical experience, preference for behavioral health or addiction treatment.
Understanding nutritional challenges in recovery and ability to address deficiencies.

Responsibilities

Perform nutrition assessments for patients at nutritional risk in addiction recovery.
Develop and monitor individualized nutrition care plans for detox, residential, and outpatient stages.
Provide nutrition education to clients and families on healthy eating and cravings management.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and care team to optimize outcomes.
Ensure compliance with facility policies and licensing regulations.
Maintain timely electronic medical records reflecting intervention effectiveness.
