Job summary

Elitek Vehicle Services, an LKQ Company, is seeking a Remote Diagnostic Technician to join our team in Nashville, TN or Plano, TX. The role focuses on diagnostic expertise and strong customer service in a call-center environment.

Candidates should have automotive industry exposure, vocational training, and proficiency with diagnostic tools. Compensation ranges from $23 to $28 per hour based on experience, with full benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months experience in the automotive industry at an entry-level position.
Technical or Vocational school graduate and/or OEM training.

Responsibilities

Serve as a primary partner contact as needed within the service process.
Primary duties are completed in a call center environment.
Provide diagnostic and technical subject matter expertise in a customer service-centric manner to each partner/customer.
Provide first call final resolution to as many vehicle scans as possible, escalating when needed, but helping the customer complete the process and move the vehicle through their repair sequence.
Educate our partners/customers on the importance of diagnostic scans.
Assist Remote technicians with required diagnostic tests and in performing technical evaluations.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety and environmental rules.
Assumes other duties as assigned.
