Job summary

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is recruiting Remote Diagnostic Radiologists to support the Providence VA Healthcare System in Providence, RI. Both full-time and locum tenens arrangements are available, with schedules generally Monday–Friday and on-call optional for local candidates.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and board certification or eligibility in radiology.
• ACGME or AOA accredited Diagnostic Radiology Residency.
• Active, full, and unrestricted medical license in any US state or territory.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• DEA license and ability to pass a federal background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Interpret X-Ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, DEXA, Fluoroscopy studies.
• Review imaging requests for appropriateness.
• Protocol studies and oversee imaging procedures.
• Prescribe contrast agents and imaging protocols.
• Provide guidance to radiology technologists.
• Ensure compliance with ACR standards and ALARA radiation safety principles.
• Communicate critical and urgent findings to providers.
• Identify and report poor image quality or equipment issues.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, and CME requirements.
• Participate in accreditation and compliance reviews.
• Support radiation safety and quality programs.
