Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Diabetes Sales Specialist for a remote opportunity in the Diabetes Care division. You will drive sales, build relationships with providers and payors, and stay current on Abbott products and market strategies.

You will collaborate with Managed Care, Retail, and Point of Care teams, managing plans and resources to meet short- and long-term goals while delivering accurate, professional information to health care professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 2-4 years previous experience with commendable sales track record, preferably in health care.
• Excellent communication skills, high energy, integrity and ambition to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales quotas/objectives for ADC Products.
• Collaborate with channels: Managed Care, Retail, and Point of Care representatives.
• Establish strong relationships with internal and external health care constituents (physicians, nurses, pharmacists, CDEs).
• Act in a friendly, respectful, adaptive manner focusing on needs of others.
• Keep current on internal and competitive products and positioning.
• Plan for short- and long-term results with goals and time frames.
• Track progress against plan and adjust efforts as needed.
• Document daily activity in call reporting/tracking system.
