Job summary

ASRC NetCentric is seeking a Security Engineer to support a DHS program with a remote work arrangement. The role focuses on secure solutions across cloud and data centers, integrating compliance tooling and processes in alignment with federal standards.

Responsibilities include applying DHS security engineering practices, obtaining CEH/Amazon/Microsoft/Linux/Cloud certifications, and contributing to information assurance and authorization activities under NIST and DHS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in application security engineering support.
• US Citizen and ability to successfully complete a government issued background investigation.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust; prior Public Trust or Security Clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understanding of the DHS security engineering experience.
• Certifications and direct applicable experience in CEH, Amazon, Microsoft, Linux and Cloud.
• Direct DHS experience engineering and integrating secure solutions in cloud, data centers, networks, applications using Linux, windows, identity solutions, databases, firewalls, and networks appliances.
• Experience with Information Assurance Compliance tools (XACT, TAF, etc.).
• Knowledge of Federal Government Authorization processes (NIST 800-53, DHS 4300A, DIACAP).
