GuidePoint Security, a leading cybersecurity consultancy, is seeking a DFIR Consultant to join its Digital Forensics & Incident Response Practice. You will perform investigations (host forensics, network analysis, malware triage), produce clear analyses, and communicate findings to clients while expanding expertise across core DFIR disciplines.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DFIR disciplines experience: host forensics, network traffic analysis, malware handling, log review, and BEC analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and managerial audiences.
• Creative and adaptable problem-solver in a fast-changing environment.
• Experience with AI tools and emerging technologies to improve investigations.

Responsibilities

• Perform DFIR investigations as a technical contributor under engagement leads.
• Support engagement communication, time management, and deliverables.
• Produce clear engagement deliverables detailing findings, recommendations, and remediation steps.
• Collaborate with peers, use scripting to improve DFIR efficiency, and grow core competencies.
