Job summary

VetsEZ is seeking a skilled DevSecOps / Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure platform services, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation for a large federal healthcare program.

You will collaborate with development, security, and release teams to ensure scalable, reliable delivery across shared environments. 7+ years in DevOps, strong AWS/Kubernetes/IaC experience, and ability to obtain a government clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar.
• Experience with AWS, containers, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Knowledge of security controls, secrets handling, vulnerability scanning.
• Experience supporting shared environments and enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with Linux, scripting, monitoring, and troubleshooting production issues.
• Strong collaboration across engineering, QA, security, and leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Ability to obtain a Government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Engineer secure and scalable cloud platform capabilities using IaC and automation.
• Support platform reliability, observability, access controls, and secrets management.
• Collaborate with developers to improve deployment efficiency and repeatability.
• Implement DevSecOps controls across build, deploy, scanning, and monitoring.
