Job summary

Serco is seeking an Experienced DevSecOps Engineer for a 100% remote role. You will design secure CI/CD pipelines, integrate SAST/DAST and container scanning, and automate cloud infrastructure with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

The role requires Azure proficiency, security-minded collaboration across teams, and the ability to travel up to 10% CONUS. We value strong scripting and experience across DevOps, Security Engineering, and Cloud Engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience in DevSecOps, security engineering, software engineering, or cloud engineering.
• Proficiency with Azure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate security tools and practices into development workflows (SAST, DAST, container scanning).
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure secure software delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Monitor systems for security vulnerabilities and respond to incidents.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing systems.
• Stay current with emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices.
