Job summary

Nakupuna Companies seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and deployment environments for a DoD project. You will integrate automated security controls, manage repositories and credentials, and automate infrastructure provisioning.

The role requires 5+ years and a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with active Secret clearance. You will collaborate across teams to enhance delivery speed, security, and auditability in Arlington, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field; 5+ years of professional experience.
• Hands-on design and administration of production CI/CD pipelines with major tools.
• Experience with containers/orchestration and IaC/configuration-management tools.
• Experience administering cloud or on-prem environments; Linux/Windows systems.
• Scripting in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar.
• Knowledge of secure software delivery, vulnerability management, STIGs, RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and security evidence collection.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and administer CI/CD pipelines across dev, test, and prod.
• Integrate automated security controls including SAST/DAST, SCA, secrets, and policy gates.
• Manage repositories, pipeline runners, credentials, certificates, and RBAC.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning to create hardened environments aligned with STIGs.
• Manage container builds, deployment, registries, SBOMs, and signed artifacts.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and coordinate patching and vulnerability remediation.
• Maintain RMF artifacts and support control assessments and continuous monitoring.
• Collaborate with developers, cybersecurity, infra, and stakeholders to automate controls and improve reliability.
