Job summary

Serco is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our team—100% remote. This role focuses on embedding security across the SDLC and cloud-first delivery.

You will design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines, integrate SAST/DAST and container scanning, and use IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in DevOps or security engineering, US citizenship, and the ability to travel up to 10% CONUS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain DoW Secret clearance.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, Security Engineering, Software Engineering, or Cloud Engineering.
• Proficiency with Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Containerization/orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting skills; travel up to 10% (CONUS).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate security tools and practices into development and deployment workflows (SAST, DAST, container scanning).
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams for secure software delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Monitor systems for security vulnerabilities and respond to incidents.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing systems.
• Stay current with emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices.
