Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC seeks a DevOps Engineer with a security emphasis to support KITS and our government customer. The role is remote and requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

You will design, implement, and manage secure cloud-based solutions on AWS while upholding best security practices. Key responsibilities include building secure infrastructure, enforcing security in CI/CD, monitoring for vulnerabilities, incident response, and automation of security processes across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering with a focus on security.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with implementing security controls in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS.
• Implementing security policies and best practices for cloud-based applications.
• Collaborating with development teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Monitoring systems for security vulnerabilities and conducting regular security audits.
• Engaging in incident response activities and addressing security issues promptly.
• Automating security processes and configuration management.
• Implementing and managing AWS/Azure services and resources.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure security and compliance requirements are met.
