Job summary

Ladders is seeking a DevOps Engineer with Secret clearance to join our manufacturing and automotive technology team. This remote US-based role focuses on building automation, deployment reliability, and consistent operations across environments.

You will document processes, troubleshoot issues, and support day-to-day delivery while traveling up to 10% within the contiguous US. A strong security mindset is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field; preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, software engineering, or infrastructure development.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Proficiency in Python or Java.
• Experience with Ansible or Salt.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a DevOps framework for build server automation.
• Develop documentation for DevOps processes.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting across environments.
• Provide technical support and training to teams and customers.
• Support remote operations with occasional travel up to 10% within the contiguous United States.
