Job summary

Ladders is seeking a DevOps Engineer with Secret clearance to join our manufacturing and automotive technology team. This remote US-based role focuses on building automation, deployment reliability, and consistent operations across environments.

You will document processes, troubleshoot issues, and support day-to-day delivery while traveling up to 10% within the contiguous US. A strong security mindset is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field; preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, software engineering, or infrastructure development.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Proficiency in Python or Java.
• Experience with Ansible or Salt.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes.

For our client, we are seeking a Dev Ops Engineer - Secret to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will support the design and maintenance of DevOps practices that improve build automation, deployment reliability, and operational consistency across environments. You will work closely with technical teams and internal stakeholders to document processes, troubleshoot issues, and strengthen day-to-day delivery support. The position also includes occasional travel within the contiguous United States and requires a strong security-minded approach. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $103,500 – $181,100 annually.
