Job summary

RCH Solutions seeks a DevOps Engineer with strong backend development skills to advance discovery research. You will own TS/Node.js services and GCP infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and security posture to support data access, platform reliability, and secure delivery for the scientific community.

The role emphasizes RBAC design, Prisma ORM, Terraform, and observability, with remote US East Coast hours and collaboration across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Strong backend development experience in TypeScript/Node.js.
• RBAC design experience across apps and data layers.
• Relational schema design and migrations with Prisma or similar ORM.
• Practical BigQuery experience including access patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Implement RBAC across applications and data layers.
• Model relational schemas with Prisma and manage migrations.
• Govern BigQuery access patterns at row, dataset, and table levels.
• Build well-documented, typed APIs for front-end and data science teams.
• Apply AI coding tools within guardrails to accelerate delivery.
