Job summary

DBServices in the United States is seeking a mid-level DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain DevOps platforms in cloud and Kubernetes environments. You will build CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, automate infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible, and craft secure container images and scalable deployments.

This role involves integrating testing and security controls into pipelines using SonarQube and Checkov, and managing artifacts with Artifactory or Nexus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining DevOps platforms in Cloud and Kubernetes.
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including GitLab CI/CD, GitLab Runner and YAML.
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience building and maintaining virtual machine and container images, with knowledge of security, vulnerabilities and versioning.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm and GitOps.
• Knowledge of Docker and Dockerfiles.
• Experience with Linux, Bash and Python for automation and API integration.
• Knowledge of Maven/Gradle and JFrog Artifactory or Nexus.
• Experience integrating testing and security controls into CI/CD.
• Knowledge of SonarQube, Checkov and dependency/image analysis tools.
• Advanced English

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain DevOps platforms in Cloud and Kubernetes environments
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitLab Runner and YAML
• Provision and automate infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible
• Build and maintain virtual machine and container images, ensuring security, vulnerability management and versioning
• Deploy and manage workloads with Kubernetes, Helm and GitOps
• Create and maintain Dockerfiles and container environments
• Automate tasks and integrate with APIs using Linux, Bash and Python
• Manage builds and artifacts with Maven/Gradle and JFrog Artifactory or Nexus
• Integrate testing and security controls into CI/CD pipelines, using tools such as SonarQube, Checkov and dependency/image scanning tools
