Job summary

Edify Technologies, headquartered in Naperville, IL, is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a remote contract-to-hire engagement. You will contribute to scalable CI/CD pipelines, implement IaC, and optimize cloud and container orchestration across Azure DevOps, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.

The role requires strong scripting in Python/PowerShell/Bash, experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana, plus a solid grasp of deployment patterns and security best

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps roles with proven experience building and scaling next-level CI/CD systems.
• Expert-level proficiency with Azure DevOps including YAML pipelines, release gates, and environments.
• Strong proficiency with infrastructure as code using Terraform or Azure Bicep.
• Production experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/AKS).
• Demonstrated track record implementing deployment automation, monitoring solutions, and GitOps workflows.
• Scripting expertise with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Experience with observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Understanding of security best practices including secrets management and compliance automation.
• Knowledge of deployment patterns (blue-green, canary, rolling updates).
