Job summary

HDI Global Insurance Company in Chicago, IL seeks a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure and deployment pipelines, partnering with software, QA and IT teams to improve reliability and automate delivery.

Responsibilities include building CI/CD pipelines, IaC, container orchestration, monitoring, security, incident response, and governance compliance; candidates should have strong cloud and .NET experience.

Qualifications

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
Strong Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using IaC practices.
Collaborate with engineering and QA to support development, testing, release processes.
Monitor performance, availability, and security; proactively resolve issues.
Implement automation to improve reliability and efficiency.
Support containerization and orchestration platforms for consistent environments.
Manage configuration, patching, and environment consistency across dev/test/prod.
Participate in incident response and RCA, driving improvements.
Ensure governance, audit, and security standards are met.
