Job summary

WhatConverts is seeking a DevOps Engineer to optimize CI/CD, automate deployments, and strengthen security across AWS. You’ll collaborate with Senior Developers and the Senior Cloud Architect to move code from design to production.

This remote-first role offers ownership, fast-paced delivery, and opportunities to grow in cloud security and observability. You'll implement monitoring with Datadog and CloudWatch while improving reliability.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of DevOps, cloud or platform engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Working knowledge of AWS services and release coordination.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve CI/CD across environments using AWS CodeDeploy/CodePipeline.
• Coordinate releases, deployments, environments, and testing.
• Expand automated testing and observability with Datadog and CloudWatch.
• Build security into the pipeline with IAM hardening and secret scanning.
• Support incident response, runbooks, and post-mortems; plan milestones.
