Job summary

BRANY is seeking a DevOps Engineer to help modernize the CITI Program LMS and support release engineering, cloud delivery, and automation in a mixed legacy and modern stack. The role involves CI/CD, Azure infrastructure, Docker, Terraform, and ARM/Bicep for a .NET on IIS and React-based learner experience.

This fully remote position offers a salary of $75,000 to $90,000 with comprehensive benefits and occasional travel, aligning with U.S. regional standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–6 years of DevOps, cloud, or platform engineering experience.
• Azure certification preferred (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer, Azure Developer).
• Hands-on experience supporting .NET applications, React front-end, or similar stacks.
• Experience with Windows Server and IIS administration.
• Experience with Azure cloud and Terraform/ARM/Bicep.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve release processes across Dev, Staging, and Production environments.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate builds and deployments.
• Standardize deployment workflows, versioning, validation, and rollback procedures.
• Assist with modernizing Azure infrastructure and containerization where appropriate.
• Collaborate with development and database teams to improve SQL Server performance.
• Monitor, log, and provide operational visibility across environments.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term fixes.
• Set up monitoring and optimize feedback mechanisms.
