Job summary

RSM Solutions, Inc. seeks an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer for a contract-to-hire engagement. This fully remote role prefers candidates in the Chicago/midwest area.

The contract runs about 6 months; upon conversion, annual compensation ranges from $130,000 to $145,000 with full benefits. Key duties include rebuilding CI/CD pipelines, blue-green and canary deployments, IaC with Terraform or Azure Bicep, and robust observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and Application Insights.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Azure DevOps experience with CI/CD ownership.
• Experience designing and deploying cloud resources.
• Proficient in Terraform or Azure Bicep.
• Scripting in Python or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild and mature CI/CD pipelines with automated gates.
• Design blue-green, canary, and feature-flag deployments.
• Architect robust rollback mechanisms.
• Develop IaC using Terraform or Azure Bicep.
• Implement observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and Application Insights.
• Lead CI/CD maturity and SRE practices.
