Job summary

Altman Solon is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Product & Innovation IT team. You will own infrastructure and deployment workflows, troubleshoot complex issues, and help developers bring capabilities into production.

You’ll work across AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform, building pipelines and improving tooling, docs, and processes for scalable delivery. Strong communication and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional DevOps/ platform engineering with production responsibility.
• Strong Kubernetes cluster management and AWS EKS features (VPC-CNI, pod identity, Karpenter).
• Hands-on AWS across multiple accounts/regions (S3, RDS, IAM).
• Strong Terraform skills, reusable modules and blueprints.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CloudWatch logging/metrics, and Prometheus/Grafana in Kubernetes.
• Scripting with Bash and YAML; understand underlying system behavior.
• Excellent written/verbal English communication; able to document tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain applications on AWS EKS with ArgoCD workflows.
• Build and maintain Terraform modules to provision cloud resources.
• Manage multi-account/multi-region infrastructure and security controls.
• Create release pipelines and promote between environments; monitor deployment metrics.
• Establish logging and monitoring with CloudWatch; respond to incidents.
