Job summary

CoachHub GmbH seeks a DevOps Engineer to join a remote-first team spanning Spain and Germany. You will own cloud infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes, automate release pipelines, and ensure high availability with proactive monitoring.

Key requirements include 3+ years with AWS/Kubernetes, Terraform/OpenTofu, and GitOps. The role offers remote work with cross‑functional collaboration and strong emphasis on cost optimization and security.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes in a production environment.
• Experience planning or contributing to Kubernetes cluster upgrades.
• Strong hands-on with Terraform / OpenTofu.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
• Good grasp of AWS security fundamentals (IAM, networking).
• Monitoring and alerting experience with root-cause analysis.
• Nice to have: Kafka (MSK), RDS/Postgres, Prometheus stack, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Sentry, Terragrunt, multi-region setups, cost optimization.
• Remote-first and autonomous work experience.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Good spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain development tools and cloud infra, managing production instances and application distribution.
• Automate and improve development and release processes for smooth, safe shipping.
• Deploy and maintain infrastructure with IaC (Terraform/OpenTofu).
• Apply security best practices in collaboration with the security team.
• Ensure production reliability with rolling releases and minimal user impact.
• Collaborate with Data and QA teams to align processes.
• Participate in daily standups to plan infra work and tooling requests.
