Job summary

Seneca Resources is seeking a DevOps Engineer to advance a nationwide modernization of on-premises infrastructure from Raleigh, NC. The role blends infrastructure automation with development tasks, emphasizing PowerShell scripting, CI/CD pipeline engineering, and enterprise systems administration.

The ideal candidate will design, implement, and document automation strategies, migrate pipelines to YAML, and collaborate across engineering and operations to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Windows Server 2022+ and Ubuntu Linux.
• Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and DSC.
• Strong background in building and migrating CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps Server).
• Hands-on expertise with Git-based workflows, NuGet and NPM packages.
• Experience in enterprise server upgrades, security configurations and IAM.
• Ability to design automation solutions and document implementation plans.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement infrastructure automation using PowerShell and DSC.
• Modernize Windows Server and Ubuntu environments (2022+, Ubuntu 24).
• Build and migrate Azure DevOps Server pipelines from Classic to YAML.
• Develop .NET web applications across WebForms, MVC, Razor Pages, Blazor.
• Manage IIS, Active Directory, certificates, networking, and security.
• Implement Docker and Docker Compose; support Git, NuGet, and NPM workflows.
• Lead server upgrades, hardening, and deployment automation initiatives.
• Create detailed documentation, implementation plans, and timelines.
