Job summary

Peace For DC is seeking a passionate Development Manager to support fundraising, donor relations, and event planning. You will work with the Executive Director and team to grow the donor base and advance major gifts, corporate partnerships, and annual giving.

Responsibilities include building a comprehensive fundraising plan, managing donor databases, preparing grant proposals, coordinating events, and reporting on fundraising progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Masters preferred.
• Minimum 3 years nonprofit development experience.
• Experience working with senior/executive staff and Board engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy.
• Manage donor databases and track cultivation and stewardship.
• Prepare gift processing and acknowledgment letters.
• Cultivate relationships with donors and prepare for meetings.
• Plan and implement fundraising events.
• Collaborate on funding opportunities and proposals.
