Job summary

Prizmah is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join the School Advancement team. The role focuses on fundraising and development, while also contributing to affordability and governance initiatives across day schools.

You will design and deliver programs, build community among development professionals, and provide direct consulting support to schools. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in nonprofit fundraising, strong relationship skills, and a track record of translating knowledge into

Qualifications

3–5 years of nonprofit fundraising experience with proven success in annual giving, major gifts, endowment development, or campaigns.
Experience in Jewish day school or Jewish communal fundraising is a significant plus.
Ability to translate knowledge into compelling programming and direct school support.
Experience designing and delivering professional learning for adult audiences.
Strong relationship skills with school professionals, heads of school, and lay leaders.
Ability to manage multiple projects independently with strong organizational skills.
Comfort with financial data and budgets; proficiency in spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver programs, workshops, and resources for development professionals and lay leaders.
Facilitate learning communities and contribute to curriculum development and thought leadership.
Collaborate on governance, affordability, and endowment initiatives within School Advancement.
Partner with Marketing/Communications to elevate Prizmah's work in development and governance.
