Job summary

Active Minds is seeking interns for a Spring 2027 Development Internship. This remote internship targets current college students or recent graduates in the U.S. with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week, typically 9:00am–5:00pm EST, Feb 1 to Apr 23, 2027.

Interns are paid $18 per hour and will work on the Development team. Interns will gain nonprofit sector experience, collaborate across teams, and contribute to fundraising campaigns and donor communications that support Active Minds

Qualifications

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.
• Marketing, business, and/or customer service skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage in donor outreach to support nationwide fundraising initiatives.
• Assist with planning and executing special fundraising events.
• Perform data entry and data hygiene to maintain donor records.
• Contribute to fundraising campaign prep and donor prospect research.
• Draft proposals and content for newsletters, donor letters, and fundraising pages.
