Job summary

Jazz Hands for Autism seeks a part-time Director of Development & Communications to lead our fundraising campaigns and oversee all organizational communications. The role focuses on donor cultivation, grant management, and creating compelling outreach across media and campaigns.

You will manage the full grant life-cycle, donor relationships, and data systems while partnering with staff and the finance team to advance our mission of empowering autistic musicians.

Qualifications

• Nonprofit management, fundraising, and development experience.
• Data management and data analysis experience.
• Strong communications skills with social media experience.
• Donor development, donor outreach, and sponsorship development experience.
• Willing to participate in grant writing and fundraising training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full grant life-cycle from sourcing grants to reporting.
• Cultivate an individual recurring donor base and monitor key benchmarks.
• Develop financial and in-kind partnerships and manage donor databases.
• Coordinate social media and email campaigns (Mailchimp) and press outreach.
• Collaborate with the finance team to provide budgets and financial reports for donor and grant life-cycle.
